Updates!

CARNAL MOON has now been out a couple of days through Ellora's Cave, and very soon my FREE Naughty Nooner, DISCOVERING SOFIA will be released!
In the meantime I'm just polishing and adding a few thousand words to my ms MOON THRALL, to a novella sized book (around 18K) and then I should be hitting the send button to my Ellora's Cave editor tomorrow - which then leaves me a week to continue on with what I hope will be my new Noc Bites! (yes, I am sticking to the guidelines this time!) This one has shape shifters, so I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into a story I haven't reread a hundred times =)
Then it's back to my co-authored single title, BELIEVE, which is soo close to finished, and then working on the weekends on my other Ellora's Cave book, presently called "Abducted" - but that is definately my working title.
I'm also itching to start work on my other single title, but that will have to wait...as will a spy story that is busting to be told LOL!!!!

Release day for CARNAL MOON is HERE!!!! It's been a long time coming for this story, which was originally accepted at another publisher before finding it's home at Ellora's Cave! I love this story, love the heroine and her conflict almost as much as I love the brilliant, lawyer hero!!

Being Human

Last night I finished watching the last show in series two of Being Human.  Picture a ghost, a werewolf and a bloodthirsty vampire going cold turkey, and all three living in the same house, and you have this great UK series. 
I highly recommend it! The actors are brilliant, the story-line real life despite them being immortal.
Thanks so much to Maria for sending me this!! I can't wait for season 3 =) 

Laurann's latest release!

A good writing mate of mine, the fabulous Laurann Dohner, has another book released through Ellora's Cave today, Berrr's Vow is book 4 of the very popular Zorn Warrior series!
Laurann constantly amazes me with her writing output, averaging a novel-sized book a month!!!! (She has quite a few other EC series she writes as well).

Guidelines.... Plotting V's Pantsing... Rejections

When I planned my next Harl Bites, I really didn't have a plan, so to speak. I wrote this werewolf story as I almost always do, with no clue as to where it was heading - just one scene in my head which I expanded and then kept on expanding. I *love* writing like this, love watching the story unfold and surprising me. Sometimes it takes far longer, sometimes the story just flows.
The negatives to this writing style is that I found it conflicted with my Bites story. Harlequin have guidelines to follow (for good reason!) So, I pushed these boundaries, a little too far. No, not a flat out rejection, my harl editor and I came to an agreement that I'd write another Bites that fitted those guidelines better, and I'd revise and expand Moon Thrall to *hopefully* fit Ellora's Cave, which I think it will slot in quite nicely - fingers crossed!
So lesson learned. My next Bites will be at least partially plotted, guided, so to speak, whereas my Ellora's Cave stories I will let fly.
Two vastly different ways of writing... and despite it all, you wouldn't catch me wanting to do anything else!
ps - just thought I'd pop in the rainbow on my ceiling, rather uplifting!

Research

Doing my 'alien' research for an ms I'm working on for Ellora's Cave, and stumbled across this rather bizarre youtube video (yeah, procrastination), rather interesting though. And if you watch it close to the end you'll see its tentacles etc a little clearer. What do you think, real or fake?

Wow, Ms Techo has written quite the story with Ice Cold Lover. While this is the second book in this series, I will definitely be checking out the first book in the Winged and Dangerous series! I’ve been hooked by Ms. Teshco superb story-telling skills. I found myself whisked away into the world she created. I loved the idea of Celeste, a half human /half gargoyle trying to find if not love at least a bit of sexual satisfaction with Pascal.
